Growing with prominence and gradually taking the right spot where she belongs, Ghanaian musician Noella Wiyaala has been confirmed to perform for the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II as she celebrates her 89th birthday on April 21 2015 in the UK.

Breaking the news via the official twitter account of the British High Commission in Ghana, commission expressed delight in securing the services of the Ghanaian musician whose style of music has been compared to great performers like Grammy Award winning  singer Angelique Kudjoe and many talented female artists.


The past few months have been a great one for the singer who together with her band signed an ambassadorial deal with Converse Shoes. Her theme song for the senior national team of the Blackstars during the 2014 World Cup hosted in Brazil was ranked among the best songs globally composed for the occasion.
According to a  spokesperson for Shoebox, representatives of the brand in Ghana said, Noella and her band were chosen because they represented the younger generation amazingly well.
“We chose Wiyaala and The Djimba World Band because they represent the younger generation of Ghanaians who are out there doing it for real.”

Noella recently put up a splendid performance at the GN Bank Awards which was held on the 21st of March 2015.
