The Ga Dance Hall Rapper, Tinny has spewed out his emotions on this
disturbing topic. On 'GH and Beyond', a 4Syte Production weekly
Entertainment Show, the Presenter, Wendy hosted the 'Makola Kwakwe'
composer for the one hour of the show. Interviewing the father of 4
(Tinny) on how he started music, the pros and cons of the industry
among others, he (Tinny) revealed that, his first album was produced
from contributions of his family members in United Kingdom.
The 'Regular Champion' album composer, Tinny who floated on the
Musical Stream in 2003 is one reliable Artist who can vividly see the
progress of the Industry. To Tinny, Ghana Music seems to be taking a
disturbing trend where Ghanaians are paying attention to the beat of
the songs rather than the lyrical contents. He expressed his acrimony
to this worry in Pidgin English where he told the host (Wendy) that
"Ghana they encourage too much borla (garbage) in music these days".
He further advised that, attention should be on the lyrics rather than
the beat. Tinny who had the support of his father since he started
music added that, he is a Dance Hall Artist and that is the genre he
has been doing.
His 'Regular Champion' album is set to be release to his fans soon so
Tinny edge his fans to patiently wait for a more matured and
lyrically-tried-and-tested album.
